Free Sample of Truvia Natural Sweetener
Truvia is sending a free sample and a dollar off coupon. Truvia is a popular Stevia-based sugar brand. Stevia is a healthier form of sugar. We all want to better ourselves (especially during the new year) and think this is a great sample to try.
Truvia is a stevia-based sugar substitute. You will receive two sachets of Truvia and a dollar off coupon with this free sample.
Stevia is derived from a plant grown in Brazil, Japan and China. Stevia has been used for hundreds of years to sweeten food and beverages. It is 200 to 300 times sweeter than table sugar.
There are zero calories in Stevia. Because Truvia has zero calories, it has no effects on the glycemic index. It is a healthy substitute for sugar, and it is especially great for people with diabetes. Also, Steiva is very helpful for weight control. Around 17% of the calories of an American diet come from added sugars.
Substituting Stevia is a great tool for reducing calories. It also has been proven to help reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer and reduce blood pressure. It is very safe, however some people do report side effects of diarrhea and GI symptoms.

TrySpree has tried other Stevia-based sugars and believes Truvia tastes more like sugars than any of the others. It has a granular texture and appears closer to table sugar, too. Truvia does not have the bitter aftertaste that other Stevia products sometimes have.
You can use Truvia to sweeten drinks, coffee and even for baking.
There are many recipes on the Truvia website with recipes. They are organized into categories: deserts, snacks, beverages, and breakfast. TrySpree created some of the recipes and three of our favorites were the chocolate chip cookies, reduced sugar banana bread and mini mason jar peach cobbler.
TrySpree rates this free sample four out of five stars. We like how it is a healthy product that promotes a cleaner diet, however we think Truvia could have been more generous with their free sample.
We would have liked to see them give away at last 5-6 sachets or the coupon should have been more of a discount. We were happy with the taste of the Stevia-based sugar, and we did like getting creative in the kitchen with the product.
We recommend trying it and think everyone can benefit from a little less added sugar in their diet!
