Especially in trying times like during Covid 19, it's good to take some time and really appreciate some of the best free things in life.

Love

Love is free. Remember that feeling when you first met your significant other? The butterflies in your stomach. No amount of virus can take that feeling away. It's true that a lot of dating has gone online, but yet, people can still fall in love.

Family

Family is really what gets us through the toughest times. Family will always be there for you, especially when you get sick. Of course, sometimes family can be quite the pain in the butt! But at the end of the day, family is free, and family is incredible. Being around people you love, and that love you back unconditionally, can help you pull through any tough times.

Books at the Library

Reading can transport you to other times and places. This escape can be a much welcome break from the tough conditions many people are unfortunately facing today. Just go to your local library and pick up some great books. Get lost in a classic, learn about somebody by reading a biography, or read some fantastic fiction. So take advantage of your local library and pick up a free book! But don't forget to retun it, because that's a great way to rack up a bill!

Nature

There are numerous scientific studies that show nature is good for you. People are much more calm and healthy after being in nature. That is why nature is one of the best free things to enjoy. Go to a beautiful park, take a walk and appreciate all the beautiful flowers. Pretty much anywhere you can find a bit of nature to enjoy for free.

Just like nature, laughter is also great for your health. Laughter is a great way to instantly start feeling better. Get with friends and talk about funny past experiences, or even tell some jokes. A little bit of free laughter can go a long way!

Exercise

Of course, the main thing everyone knows is good for health is exercise. It increases cardio vascular strength, so your heart is more healthy. Also it releases endorphins which help to calm the body and relieve stress. Exercise is free, so go for a jog or even a little walk can go a long way in making you feel better.

Gratitude

Last but not least, gratitude is free. Being grateful for what you have can completely change your perspective. No matter how bad you think things are, there are plenty of people much worse off. Being grateful and changing your thought process can help lift your spirits. So be grateful!
